Rankings

Every rankable measure, nationally and scoped to each state. Ranks are precomputed at ingest and respect the direction of the measure — ranking “measures worse than national” descending would put the best possible score in last place.

Each ranking covers one population. Enrollment is reported by schools and by districts, and pooling them ranked Los Angeles Unified against a single high school — so the URL names the population before it names the measure.
